Bộ mặt thế giới đang thay đổi theo sự phát triển của dân số, khoa học kỹ thuật, phương tiện vận chuyển của vận tốc thời đại. Phương tiện di chuyển theo vận tốc cũng đồng nghĩa với sự thu ngắn, thu bé, thu hẹp, thu nhỏ quả địa cầu này về mọi phương diện tổ chức, lãnh đạo, điều hành, quản trị.

Nhân loại đã thay đổi theo vận tốc từ đi bộ, cỡi ngựa, chèo thuyền cho tới tốc độ nhanh hơn của xe lửa, xe hơi, tàu thủy, phi cơ, phi thuyền, rồi từ máy bay cánh quạt tới phản lực, vệ tinh, trạm không gian. Vì vậy vận tốc thời đại đã làm thay đổi bộ mặt của đời sống con người và xã hội.

Chiến tranh xâm lăng xưa nay cũng tùy thuộc vào phương tiện di chuyển. Với tốc độ rùa bò của đôi bàn chân, chiến tranh chỉ xảy ra trong vùng bộ lạc với địa bàn nhỏ hẹp.

Nhưng khi con người biết làm ra thuyền gỗ, biết nuôi ngựa nuôi voi thì tốc độ thỏ chạy tiến nhanh hơn. Chiến tranh mở rộng tới cấp quốc gia, đi xâm lăng và chinh phục các nước lân bang, thành lập đế quốc và mở rộng thị trường buôn bán hay khai thác hoặc chiếm hữu tài nguyên thiên nhiên.

Khi người Mông Cổ nuôi được giống ngựa quý, chạy nhanh chạy xa hơn các giống khác của những quốc gia đương thời, thì Thành Cát Tư Hãn điều binh khiển tướng đi gây chiến tranh khắp vùng lãnh thổ Châu Á tới Châu Âu. Đó là thời xả thân chiến trường và da ngựa bọc thây (mã cách khỏa thi).

Khi người Châu Âu biết chế tạo tầu sắt, thì đã mang quân đi xâm lăng các nước Tây phương và tiến chiếm gần hết thế giới. Do đó vận tốc thời đại càng nhanh thì chiến tranh càng mạnh và tàn sát càng nhiều.

Trong những thập niên tới nếu phương tiện di chuyển thông dụng đạt tới 25,000 cây số/ giờ, thì sự liên lạc qua hệ thống điện lưới toàn cầu, điện toán cá nhân chắc chắn sẽ đưa nhân loại tiến đến một thể chế chính trị dân chủ hoàn mỹ, gọi là Tân Dân Chủ (New Democracy) trong thời đại mới, gọi là Thời Đại Tín Nghiệp (Information Age) chớ không còn Thời Đại Công Nghiêp (Industrial Age) và Chủ Nghĩa Tư Bản (Capitalism) của Đảng Cộng Hòa (Republican Party) và được ông cựu tổng thống Donald Trunp đang điều hành hiện nay.

Luật lệ bang giao quốc tế, vai trò của Liên Hiệp Quốc từ đó cũng phải thay đổi để mở rộng ra trong nhiều lãnh vực khác nữa. Liên Hiệp Quốc sẽ cùng với sự hợp tác cải tiến và các tổ chức quốc gia quốc tế mới được thành lập, để thay thế cho những cơ quan tổ chức đang có hiện nay.

Nhìn vào thực tại, Thời Đại Công Nghiệp đã được Đảng Cộng Hòa và Tổng Thống Abraham Clincoln xây dựng tại Hoa Kỳ sau Cuộc Nội Chiến (American Civil War) tới nay đã có khoảng 160 năm. Và ngày nay Thời Đại Tín Nghiệp đang đáp ứng tình hình biến chuyển của xã hội mới, đời sống mới, con người mới mang tính nhân bản của Con Người.

A War Of The Ages

I. The Conflict Of The Agricultural Age and The Industrial Age

Open the history of the American Civil War (American Civil War, 1861-1865)

We know that the Republican Party has organized and led 25 states with 20 million citizens in the Northern Union in the policy of building and developing the Industrial Age and implementing the program of Capitalism to innovate and improve political defense, socio-economics, and lead the United States of America into a new era with liberal democracy, competitive exploitation, and wealthiest, strongest and the most beautiful in the world.
In the mid-19th century, the Democratic Party, along with 11 states, consisting of 9 million whites and 4 million blacks, wanted to preserve and protect the Agricultural Age with Slavery, what is available from the founding of Washington on July 4, 1776.

1. Cause

The territory of the United States at that time consisted of 36 states, divided into two North and South:

a. The North developed the industrial and capitalist era, the economy consisted of small farmers, based on livestock and wheat production.

b. The South advocated an agricultural economy with a system of plantations and farms, mainly growing cotton and based on the exploitation of rich black people's labor, called slavery.

c. This slavery was again considered by the industrial capitalists in the North as an obstacle to economic development, because black slave labor was not free, did not directly participate in production, did not contribute capital force, taxes into factories, establishments, factories of the Industrial Age.

Next, with abundant slave labor, exploiting with low wages, the landowners of Southern farms did not need to buy or use products, materials, and machinery, petroleum of industrial investors in the North. Therefore, Southern white lords and ranchers were determined to maintain slavery in order to protect the privileges of the rich.

2. Civil War

Also in the middle of the 19th century, the United States expanded its territory to the West, a vast land with many minerals, and rich and fertile for national economic development. So both the South and the North considered the West as a separate storehouse, and this region also developed in two different directions: (1) industrial capital, and (2) agricultural landowners.

a. The Conflict between the people of the North and the South, living in this Western region is increasingly promoted, causing fierce antagonism against each other and fighting to a high level. If before, the time of conflict was not severe, the two regions still agreed to each other in the Treaty of Misouri, signed in 1850, allowing the South to have a number of agricultural states to maintain slavery, and The North was free to industrialize without slaves to develop machine factories, but this compromise did not last long.

b. The Civil War also reflected contradictions about the Centralized Mode, which is centralized power in the federal government led by the Republican majority in the North. While Democrats support Decentralized Mode, power is divided among all states in the South.

The direct cause of the outbreak of the Civil War was the Presidential Election of 1860. In this election, the Republican Party was supported by the industrial bourgeois leadership, supporting the election of the candidate Lawyer Abraham Lincoln, elect and accept the office of President of the United States.

The victories of the Republican Party, along with the abolition of slavery, made the white lords and landlords in the Southern agricultural states disgruntled, declaring secession from the Federal Government and form the Confederate States. The deeper cause to lead to the civil war was the need to abolish the agrarian landlord economy of the Southern union, in order to pave the way for the whole country to build and develop capitalism.

II. The Conflict of The Industrial Age and The Information Age

Today, we once again contemplate the history of the United States, first of all it happened around 1953, the United States invented the Computer and the Internet, which helped for mankind to have means of extremely high speed and change social life such as super speed, supersonic, super wave, super light to form The Third Wave of civilization called the Information Age. Therefore, the human need to live in this new age requires Knowledge and Wisdom.

Looking back at American society, we must admit that thanks to the Republican Party in 1865, it changed political strategy with all aspects of the entire people after the Civil War, thus leading the Union to become the Federal States, industrial processing using the most advanced scientific and technical system today. Because when the industry develops, the society will create many jobs, many professions, many science and technology.

If the Steam Engine ushered in The Industrial Age advocated by the Republican Party, today the Computer is continuing to develop the Information Age, which is fortunately acquired by The Democratic Party. That's why President Barack Obama's immortal inspirational quote: “Reading is very important. If you know how to read, the whole world will open to you.” Reading is a necessity for all of us, because if we don't read books we don't have knowledge and wisdom for living in the Information Age.

Books have existed in many different forms such as characters carved on stone, on bamboo cards, or printed on wood, on paper as we have today. But all have the same purpose of preserving and disseminating knowledge for mankind. When we read books on science, history, geography, ages... we will learn a lot of new knowledge in various fields of human life.

Reality not only stops at awareness, or knowledge enhancement, but also ideological nutrition, promoting maturity in noble feelings, helping us to perfect in all aspects in the free lifestyle of each individual. Books also help us exercise our imagination, association, memory and creativity.

In addition, reading books will help us practice language skills such as Vietnamese or foreign languages. By reading such books, we can write with correct spelling, grammar, and speak more fluently and politely.

Moreover, the book is also a great teacher to guide us on how to live a noble, healthy, good life and know how to be a right person. However, in order to achieve those benefits, each of us must be wise readers, know how to choose books suitable for our cognitive level, and must know how to stay away from books with bad content, depraved, inhuman, meaningless.

As a young person living in Vietnam affirmed to me: "Thick or thin books are not as important as reading books properly. I would like to introduce the first work “Human Age” by Vincent Pham Van Ban currently working for Boeing in the United States. This book is 506 pages long, includes 14 chapters and is printed and presented very elaborately, artistically and solemnly.

This is the thickest book I've read since I was a kid. It feels so good when I pass my own reading challenge. The Human Age help me dare to think, dare to speak and dare to do... when facing the reality of life. The more I read, the more I feel that I am more mature and have faith in the Vietnamese Nation, will have the opportunity to stretch out to become Phu Dong in the new era. (Nguyen Nam Long).

III. Study

Scholars investigating the causes of civil war have traditionally focused on two opposing theories “greed versus grievance.” From then on, the cause of the conflict between the people who followed the concept of ethnicity, religion, or other social relations, or the conflict began due to the economic attractiveness of the times of individuals in the two parties. Republicans and Democrats fight to protect privilege... Academic analysis concludes that structural and economic factors play a more important role than identifiable factors in predicting economic prosperity, civil war events.

These comprehensive studies of the civil war were carried out by the World Bank group at the beginning of the 21st century, and molded this research into what is known as the Collier Hoeffler Model. The study spends 78 consecutive five-year periods when the civil war began, and 1167 five-year periods after the civil war to compare and draw conclusions and principles for dealing with the war for future administrations. further, in order to achieve the goal of knowledge and comprehension.

The US bipartisan today has learned from the civil war and the Collier Hoeffler model of settlement, so it has avoided many grievances and tensions in the past time. It is hoped that President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party will lead the United States of America into a new era in order to build and develop the era of the Information Age for all mankind.
