If the early numbers hold up, Floyd Mayweather (black trunk) will pocket an incredible $250 million for the single fight, with that number potentially rising as high as $275 million, according to figures compiled by the Business Insider financial news site.
As for the fight’s clear loser, Manny Pacquiao (white trunk), in the negotiations for the fight, only “settled” for 40 percent of the fighters’ combined purse. That will leave Pacquiao with a paycheck for the May 2 fight of at least $170 million, and possibly as much as $190 million.
