The majority of the Vietnamese alumni were South Viet- namese Air Forcemembers who studied English at DLI before attending pilot training for A-37, F-5,and rotary aircraft.The alumni proudly wore their duty uniforms during the visit. Retired MajorThanh Hoang Vo, former Vietnamese instructor pilot, also presented Colonel Garrett,DLI comman- dant, with a framed picture of the South Vietnam Air Force squadroncrest from the alumni group.
