Là tên một bài hát nổi tiếng bằng chữ Hán, mà tôi thường vô ý thức nghêu ngao hát « nhái » mấy câu tiếng Việt, lúc còn là một cậu học trò trường làng, mười một mười hai tuổi, cách đây mấy chục năm :

Em lấy chồng sao em không nói,

Để anh theo anh ghẹo em hòai

Cũng như nhiều đứa trẻ cùng trang lứa với tôi lúc bấy giờ, chúng tôi vẫn thường đem lời hát này ra để trêu đùa những cô gái cùng xóm với mình.Âm điệu của câu hát này này cho đến bây giờ, tuổi đời tôi đã ra ngoài thất thập cổ lai hy rồi, vẫn như còn, lãng đãng sống trong trí nhớ của tôi, kèm theo với một kỷ niệm đẹp thời thơ ấu của một chú nhóc con, ôm mộng mị, mê say cái nhan sắc của một bậc liền chị hàng xóm, lớn hơn mình năm sáu tuổi.

Tôi còn dám cả lòng mạo muội mượn lời hát đó để “tỏ tình” một cách láo lếu. Nhưng tôi may mắn đã không bị ăn một cái tát tai nào, mà ngược lại, trở thành người thân quen được sang chơi hàng ngày với chị.Tôi đem những những truyện xã hội như Nửa Chừng Xuân, Gánh Hàng Hoa, Đọan Tuyệt, Những Đồng Tiền Xiết Máu, đổi cho chị lấy những truyện võ hiệp, trinh thám, như Bồng Lai Hiệp Khách, Giao Trì Hiệp Nữ, Đoan Hùng, Lệ Hằng, Người Nhạn Trắng …Tình cảm giữa tôi và chị mỗi ngày một thêm thắm thiết, thân ái hơn.Tôi tìm được nơi chị nguồn an ủi những khi tôi cô đơn, bị bè bạn họ hàng hắt hủi bỏ rơi.

Tôi đem những bài học ở nhà trường ra thuật lại với chị để nhờ chị chỉ bảo.

Chị kể cho tôi nghe về gia đình chị.Về những ngày phải chạy đi tản cư ở những vùng quê.Hết làng này qua làng khác.Cha chị bị người ta bắt mang đi mất tich.Nghe nói ông bị người ta nghi ngờ là có quen biết với những người ở đường Quan Thánh Hà Nội.

Mẹ góa con côi, hai mẹ con chị phải cực khổ, vất vả lắm mới tìm được đường “rinh tê vào tề”.

Ngày chị bỏ làng tôi hồi cư về Hà Nội.”Tình yêu” thơ dại của tôi chưa biết khóc, nhưng trong lòng tôi thì buồn vô hạn.

Tôi hỏi :

-Bao giờ chị trở lại ?

Tôi không ngờ rẳng, đó lại chính là nghĩa của câu hỏi của chữ nho : “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai 何日君再 – Bao giờ anh trở lại”, lại là đầu đề của bài hát mà tôi đã dùng để “tỏ tình” với chị hôm nào.

Chị im lặng.Kéo tôi vào lòng, vỗ về an ủi :

-Chị đi vài tháng thì chị lại về.

Lần đầu tiên tôi cảm thấy hơi ấm từ cơ thể của một người khác phái lan sang người tôi.Tôi vừa bối rối.Vừa lúng túng.Tôi không phân biệt nổi cảm giác đó ra làm sao.Nhưng im lặng.Một thứ cảm giác không tên làm tôi không muốn rời xa chị.Phải chi lúc đó tôi cũng biết làm thơ và tài hoa như thi sĩ Hòang Cầm, thì có lẽ tôi cũng có một bài thơ đấy nhỉ.

Rồi hiệp định Genève, đất nước chia đôi.Tôi theo mẹ vào Nam.Trải qua nhiều thăng trầm dâu biển, với biết bao vật đổi sao dời.Lời hứa hẹn vài tháng của chị đã trở thành biền biệt. Mãi mãi. Hòang hạc nhất khứ bất phục phản. Nhưng người đi để lại hình bóng.Tôi không có cơ hội nào gặp lại người chị láng giếng năm xưa ấy nữa. Còn hình bóng chị thì mãi mãi vẫn là một tiên nữ hiền lành, khi ẩn khi hiện trong cái thế giới thơ ấu mang nhiều bất hạnh của tôi.

Những lúc nhớ về chân trời cũ, tôi chỉ âm thầm hát một mình :

“Cô láng giềng ơi ! Không biết cô còn nhớ đến tôi …”.

Và nếu quả như “tam sinh hữu hạnh”, tôi xin nguyện làm viên đá mốc rêu nằm bên dốc cầu chờ chị khi tái sinh đi qua đó.

1-Sự ra đời, và nỗi gian truân của “Hà Nhât Quân Tái Lai”

« Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai –Bao giờ mình trở lại », là một bản tình ca Trung Hoa nổi tiếng, được nhiều người ưa thích và ca hát, được các vũ trường đua nhau diễn tấu vào cuối thập niên 30 của thế kỷ trước.Ca khúc này chẳng những được phổ biến rộng rãi khắp đại lục, mà còn được truyền bá sang các nước đông Nam Á, được dịch ra các thứ tiếng, Nhật Bản, Tân Gia Ba, Việt Nam…Tuy thế nổi tiếng và được quần chúng yêu thích như vậy, ca khúc này cũng phải chịu một định mệnh nhiều đắng cay oan nghiệt, cho cả tác giả, lẫn một số ca sĩ của nó,vì sự gian trá và những tính tóan chính trị, vô nghệ thuật.

Ca khúc từng bị Trung Cộng xếp vào lọai nhạc dâm đãng đồi trụy, là ca khúc chiêu hồn của đế quốc Nhật Bản phản động, là lọai “nhạc vàng” ủy mị,tức “hòang sắc đích ca khúc”, và bị cấm hát, cấm lưu hành, bị bỏ vào “lãnh cung”.

Tác giả của nó, cũng phải chịu hai chục năm tù tội, oan khuất.Người hát bài ca này là ca ca sĩ khả ái Đặng Lệ Quân bị cấm túc, không cho đặt chân lên đại lục.

Nguyên tác giả của bản tình ca này là nhạc sĩ Lưu Tuyết Am ngẫu hứng sáng tác theo điệu tango vào năm 1936, trong một buổi đại hội liên hoan tốt nghiệp lần thứ 4 của những sinh viển trường “Thượng Hải Quốc Lập Âm Nhạc Chuyên Khoa Học Hiệu”.

Mới đầu, ca khúc chưa có lời.

Đến năm 1937, trước khi xẩy ra sự kiện Lưu Câu Kiều vào ngày 7 tháng 7, là ngày quân Nhật phát động tòan diện cuộc xâm lăng Trung Quốc, công ty Nghệ Hoa Điện Ảnh ở Thượng Hải được công ty sản xuất kem đánh răng là Tam Tinh tài trợ, dự tính quay phim “Tam Tinh Bán Nguyệt –Nửa vành trăng khuyết ba sao giữa trời”, do nữ tài tử Chu Tuyền chủ diễn, và đạo diến là Phương Bái Lâm. Họ Phương liền xin nhạc sĩ Lưu Tuyết Am cho phép lấy bản tango “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” đang thịnh hành, dùng làm nhạc đệm cho phim “Tam Tinh Bán Nguyệt”.Nhưng bản nhạc chưa có lời, đạo diễn họ Phương lại phải nhờ nhà sọan kịch của phim này là Hòang Gia Mô (ký tên là Bối Lâm) viết lời.

Bài ca diễn tả lời ca của một thiếu nữ hát tiễn biệt tình nhân trước ngày ra mặt trận.Nói lên sự bi hoan ly biệt, biểu đạt một nhân sinh quan, cho cuộc đời là ngắn ngủi, hãy kịp thời vui sống và hưởng lạc đi.

Đương nhiên nó là thiếu tính tích cực.Nhưng nếu đem cả nội dung của phim và lời ca phân tích, người ta chẳng tìm thấy tí ti gì là “nhạc vàng”, là “đồi trụy”, hay “phản động” cả.Đó chỉ sự biểu hiện một thứ tình cảm tư sản thường tình.Yêu nhau mà xa nhau thi buồn.Đời người ngắn ngủi, hãy mau vui đi.

Cổ kim thi nhân cũng đã chẳng từng đề cấp đến hay sao. Lý Bạch, trong bài Tương Tiến Tửu, đã từng viết:

Quân bất kiến Hòang Hà chi thủy thiên thượng lai

Bôn lưu đáo hải bất phục hồi.

Mới đầu, “Hà Nhật Quan Tái Lai” chỉ thuần túy là một khúc nhạc đệm cho điện ảnh.Hòan tòan không mang một ý đồ chính trị nào khác.

Năm 1937, người đầu tiên hát bài này là nữ tài tử chủ diễn phim “Tam Tinh Bán Nguyệt”,Chu Tuyền.Nhờ tiết tấu êm ái dịu dàng, dễ lọt vào tai thính giả.Thêm nữa, lời nhạc lãng mạng, ngọt ngào nên bản nhạc được lưu truyền một cách nhanh chóng.Từ đầu thôn cuối ngõ , người ta đua nhau hát một cách đắc ý.

Đến năm 1939, ca khúc “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” lại được dùng nhạc đệm khi quay phim “Cô Đảo Thiên Đường 孤島天堂 ”, một phim thuộc lọai kháng chiến chống Nhật, do nữ tài tử Lê Lợi Lợi hát, để khuyến khích thanh niên lên đường tòng quân.

Đến năm 1941, lúc này cuộc xâm lăng Trung Quốc quân Nhật đã được bốn năm.Một số thành thị, một số địa khu đã bị chiếm đóng nằm dưới sự quản lý hành chánh của quân đội Nhật.Để chứng tỏ ở những khu vực bị chiếm đóng này, dân chúng vẫn được yên vui thanh bình, tâm lý chiến của Nhật đã tung ca khúc “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” do một ca sĩ khả ái người Nhật , hóa danh là Lý Hương Lan(nguyên tên Nhật là Sơn Khẩu Thục Tử 山口淑子 ,bị Trung Hoa nghi ngờ là điệp viên)hát hàng ngày trên đài phát tháng. Lý Hương Lan mau chóng chiếm được cảm tình và sự ưu ái của dân chúng.

Ngòai bản Hoa văn, “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” còn được Lý Hương Lan dịch ra Nhật văn để thâu vào đĩa nhựa.Bản Nhật văn này cũng được Lý Hương Lan hát và phổ biến đến các doanh trại của quân đội Nhật.Tất nhiên cũng được họ hoan nghênh nhiệt liệt.

Trong thời kỳ kháng chiến, chính phủ của Tưởng Giới Thạch dời đô đến Trùng Khánh, nhưng tại những vùng bị Nhật chiếm đóng “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” được phổ biến rất rộng rãi.Những người dân tại vùng Nhật chiếm đóng, đua nhau hát “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” để tỏ niềm khát vọng khu trừ được quân Nhật.

Thế là “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai”, từ một ca khúc bình thường, biến thành một ca khúc yêu nước, và vượt trội hẳn những ca khúc mang tính chất tuyên truyền chính trị khác và tồn tại đến ngày nay.

Tuy thế, trong già nửa thế kỷ tồn tại ấy, “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” phải chịu một vận mệnh đầy oan khuất, bị cấm đóan, bị trù dập, đả kích.

Cũng trong thời kỳ kháng chiến chống Nhật, người Nhật phát hiện ra rằng “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” được xử dùng làm nhạc đệm trong một phim chống Nhật.Lập tức nhà đương cục Nhật ra lệnh cấm, không cho hát bài này nữa.Họ lấy lý do là chữ “ quân 君” –(có nghĩa là anh, là mình) đọc thành chữ “quân 軍”, tức “quốc quân 國軍” (có nghĩa là quân của Quốc Dân Cách Mạng, kháng chiến).

Ít lâu sau thì cả bản Nhật văn cũng bị cơ quan kiểm tra của Nhật cấm.Họ cho là vì âm điệu của bài hát có tinh chất lê thê ủy mị, sẽ làm cho binh sĩ Nhật mất kỷ luật, nản lòng chiến đấu.Người Nhật còn nghi ngờ rằng, dân chúng Trung Hoa sống trong vùng Nhật chiếm đóng, thông qua bài hát này muốn bầy tỏ sự trông chờ quốc quân Trung Quốc đến giải phóng họ.

Đến cuối thời kỳ kháng chiến, ở Nam Kinh, Thượng Hải, quân đội Nhật biết rằng họ sắp thua trận.Nhưng thua thì thua, họ nẩy ra ý định thay đổi nhan đề của bài hát, sửa chữ “Hà 何” ra chữ “Hạ賀”, “Quân 君” trở thành “Quân軍”, và “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai-何日君再來-Bao giờ anh trở lại » biến thành « Hạ Nhật Quân Tái Lai-賀日君再來-Mừng quân Nhật trở lại », và cho phát thanh đêm ngày trên đài, như một lời ước hẹn trở lại của người Nhật.

Việc thay đổi lời ca như thế, ảnh hưởng một cách nghiêm trọng đến tâm lý quần chúng, nên những nhân viên tình báo của phe kháng chiến trong lòng địch bèn thông tin cho Trùng Khánh, thủ phủ của kháng chiến biết.Tưởng Giới Thạch bèn đích thân ra lệnh cấm hát bài ca này.Đồng thời những dĩa nhựa “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai”của công ty sản xuất chưa bán ra cũng bị tịch thâu để tiêu hủy.Các đài phát thanh thuộc phe kháng chiến cũng không còn hát “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” nữa.“Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” đang từ điểm cực thịnh bị rơi xuống hố thẳm. Bị coi là nhục quốc thể.Bị cấm hát, im lìm, không còn được ai nhắc đến nữa.

Sau khi Nhật bại trận, năm 1952, khi Lý Hương Liên trở về Nhật Bản, mới lại đem “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” ra hát lại và thâu vào đĩa nhựa, cả Nhật văn lẫn Hoa văn.

Năm 1966, hãng phim “Thiệu Thị Công Ty” tức công ty Shaw Brothers, từng sản xuất các phim nổi tiếng chiếu ở SaiGòn trước 1975, như “Độc Thủ Đại Hiệp”, “Long Hổ Quyết Đấu”… không biết Đài Loan có lệnh cấm bài “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai”, và cũng không biết Lưu Tuyết Am lúc đó đang bị Trung Cộng phê đấu, hành hạ, vì là tác giả của bài hát này, Thiệu Thị Công Ty cho quay một bộ phim mang tên “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” cùng với tên bài hát, nhưng may mắn không bị cấm.Ngay cả phim “Lam Dữ Hắc” của Lâm Đại cũng dùng “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” làm nhạc đệm mà cũng không bị nhà cầm quyền Đài Loan để ý xử lý.

Đến năm 1980, “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” mới hòan tòan được Đài Loan tháo giây cởi trói, cho phép hát lại.Lúc đó, ca sĩ Đặng Lệ Quân đem bài hát này chỉnh biên lại, nhờ thế, “Hà Nhật Tân Tái Lai” được rời khỏi “lãnh cung” ra với quần chúng.


Đến khi Trung Cộng thi hành chính sách Cải Cách Khai Phóng, “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” may mắn được trở về lục địa, được dân chúng hoanh nghênh nhiệt liệt, vì giọng ca và cách trình diễn của Đặng Lệ Quân trội hơn tất cả những ca sĩ đã hát bài này trước đó, hơn nữa thính giả lại được nghe miễn phí lúc đầu.

Năm 1982, giữa lúc “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” và Đặng Lệ Quân được sự hâm mộ nhiệt tình của quần chúng, thi ban bảo vệ văn hóa tư tưởng của Trung Cộng lại có nhận định cho rằng đây là một bài ca không chính đáng, mang tính chất “bán phong kiến, bán thực dân”, là “hòang sắc ca khúc”, là “nhạc vàng ủy mị”, bèn ra lệnh cấm thâu nhập, truyền bá.Cũng như chính phủ Nhật Bản trước đó, nhà đương cục lục địa còn cho rằng “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” còn mang ẩn ý hy vọng ngày phản công của Quốc Dân Đảng tái chiếm lục địa.



Thế là “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” lại bị nhà cầm quyền Trung Cộng cho vào “lãnh cung”. Đặng Lệ Quân bị “cấm túc”, không cho đặt chân lên lục địa.

Còn Lưu Tuyết Am, cha đẻ của ca khúc này, cũng phải chịu một vận mệnh oan nghiệt, cơ cực, nhiều truân chuyên không kém gì đứa con tinh thần của mình.

2-Về tác giả Lưu Tuyết Am

Lưu Tuyết Am sinh năm 1905, người Đồng Huyện tỉnh Tứ Xuyên, thời thơ ấu học ở trường huyện.Vì có máu yêu thích âm nhạc, ngay từ nhỏ, ông đã sớm được tập luyện về dương cầm,vĩ cầm, côn khúc.Sau vì cha mẹ bị bệnh đều qua đời hết, ông phải bỏ học, đi làm công để mưu sinh.

Năm 1926, ông thi vào học trường Mỹ Thuật Chuyên Khoa Học Hiệu ở Thành Đô, học vẽ với thầy là Lý Đức Bồi.Vừa học vừa làm trong vòng ba năm.Năm 1929, trường học vì lý do chính trị bị điều tra đóng cửa.Ông chuyển lên Thượng Hải xin vào học trường Âm Nhạc Chuyên Khoa Học Hiệu, chuyên học về sáng tác nhạc và học dương cầm với Lý Duy Ninh,Tiêu Hữu Mai và Hòang Tự.

Năm 1930. Lưu Tuyết Am bắt đầu viết nhạc. Bài “Phiêu Linh Đích Lạc Hoa” là “xử nữ tác” của ông, tiếp đến những bài “”Đạp Tuyết Tầm Mai”, “Phi Nhạn”, đều là những bài được sáng tác khi còn ở trong trường.Ông trở thành môn sinh đắc ý của giáo sư âm nhạc Hòang Tự.

Sau đó, ông còn sáng tác nhiều bài khác mang tính chất nghệ thuật, được quần chúng ưa thích như “Hồng Đậu Từ”, “Trường Thành Dao”.

Rồi sau khi tốt nghiệp, trong buổi lễ kỷ niệm liên hoan của trường “Thượng Hải Quốc Lập Âm Nhạc Chuyên Khoa Học Hiệu”, Lưu Tuyết Am đã sáng tác một vũ khúc theo điệu Tango, có tên là “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai”.

Và chính vì ca khúc này mà về sau ông bị chụp mũ là “Hán gian”, viết “nhạc vàng ủy mị”.

Năm 1957, ông bị Trung Cộng xếp vào hạng “hữu phái”.Đến thời kỳ “Văn Hóa Đại Cách Mạng”, ông bị Hồng Vệ Binh phê đấu một cách tàn nhẫn, thậm chí bắt ông phải thừa nhận là vào thời quân Nhật mới bắt đầu xâm lấn Trung Hoa, chữ “Quân君 ” trong “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai 何日君再來”, là chữ “quân 軍” trong “Nhật Bản Hòang Quân 日本皇軍”, ông bị kết tội là một tên “đại mãi quốc tặc”.

Ông bị bỏ tù và chịu lao động cải tạo trong 10 năm.Sau đó bị điều về làm giáo thụ trường “Bắc Kinh Nghệ Thuật Học Hiệu”, để tiếp tục lao cải.Công việc hàng ngày của ông ở đây chỉ là hót phân, quét cầu tiêu.Ông đội mũ cắm cúi im lặng làm việc. Mất hết cả nhân phẩm.Ông không dám ngẩng mặt nhìn người khác. Và người ta cũng sợ không dám nhìn ông mà liên lụy, nên bạn bè đều lảng tránh xa ông cả.Vận mệnh của ông thật là bi thảm, làm khổ lây đến người vợ hiền lành là bà Kiều Cảnh Vân, khi bà lấy thân đỡ đòn cho ông, nên bị Hồng Vệ Binh đá tàn nhẫn vào hạ thể, bị trọng thương rồi từ trần.

Mãi về sau này, năm 1985, Lưu Tuyết Am mới được bình phản, phục hồi lại danh dự .Thì hỡi ơi, phong chúc tàn niên, hai mắt ông đã mù, thân ông như ngọn đèn tàn chờ cơn gió thỏang đưa cuộc đời tài hoa nghệ sĩ của ông sang một bờ suối khác, trả lại cho hồng trần bội bạc những oan nghiệt, trầm luân.

Lưu Tuyết Am không phải là người nghệ sĩ tài hoa duy nhất và đầu tiên trong lịch sử Trung Quốc bị những mưu toan chính trị, ở phía này hay phía khác, vu cáo và bách hại.Cổ kim xưa nay, trước ông đa số các hòang đế bạo quân, thường để lại những vụ án văn học thảm khốc.

Ông mất ngày 13 tháng 3 năm 1985, sau khi đã để lại một số những tuyệt phẩm làm vui tươi cuộc đời.

3-Nguyên lời ca khúc của “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai”

Dưới đây là lời ca chữ Hán của bài « Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai » do Bối Lâm viết, nhạc của Lưu Tuyết Am.Bối Lâm là hóa danh của kịch tác gia Hòang Gia Mô, người đã viết truyện phim“Tam Tinh Bán Nguyệt -Nửa vàng trăng khuyết ba sao giữa trời”.Lời của nguyên tác dài hơn lời của ca sĩ Đặng Lệ Quân biên chỉnh lại mà người ta thường nghe sau này.Ca khúc láy đi láy lại nhiều lần“Đêm nay ly biệt rồi, bao giờ anh trở lại”.Nghe quyến luyến và day dứt vô cùng.

4-Hà Nhật Quan Tái Lai du nhập Việt Nam vào năm nào?

Như đã trình bầy ở trên, khi hát mấy câu :

Em có chồng sao em không nói,

Để anh theo anh ghẹo em hoài

Tôi cũng như những người bạn đồng trang lứa lúc bấy giờ, chúng tôi chỉ hát một cách vô thức, khônhg mang một chút ý nghĩa nào.Việc « tỏ tình » với người liền chị hàng xóm năm xưa, là một việc thầm kin riêng tư đến sau này của mình tôi mà thôi.Cũng như lớp trẻ con sau năm 1975, chúng thường bảo nhau nghêu ngao hát « nhái » một bài hát rất thịnh hành của Trịnh Công Sơn ngày trước đó:

Từ Bắc vô Nam tay cầm cái roi

Tay kia cầm sợi dây để bắt con cầy.

Tuổi thơ nào cũng đều vô tư và giống nhau như thế cả.

Do đó, tôi không hề đặt câu hỏi về xuất xứ của câu hát này, và bài “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” đã được du nhập vào Việt Nam như thế nào, vào năm nào.Đây là một câu hỏi, chúng tôi không có tai liệu để trả lời.Cũng may, một ông bạn già vong niên, trong lúc trà dư tửu hậu ở quán thịt dê, đã cho tôi biết là ông đã từng được nghe bài “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai” vào đầu thập niên 1940, khi đó ông còn trẻ, lúc ông mới bước chân vào ngưỡng cửa Thành Chung.

Thời bấy giờ, “Hà Nhậtt Quân Tái Lai” là bài hát khá thịnh hành trong các vũ trường, hộp đêm.Ông còn nhớ được, tuy không chắc chắn đầy đủ, lời tiếng Việt của bài hát đại để này như sau :

Bao Giờ Anh Trở Lại

Đi để lại hình bóng

Gợi nhớ thương dào dạt trong lòng,

Em nhắn nhủ thời gian

Đem đến trả tình quân

Ai biết chăng êm đềm gió thu

Ai biết cho lòng em âu sầu

Như lá thu vàng vừa rơi

Lướt trên hồ đằng xa

Còn mong sẽ có một tương lai nữa nhỉ

Giữ duyên khỏi phai

Mai kiếp phong trần lôi kéo đời

Em nhắn nhủ tình quân

Đi lại một kỳ tới xuân

Dĩ nhiên, chắc chắn đây không phải là lời dịch của bài “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai”, nhưng ý và lời Việt của bài hát này cũng mang đầy tính lãng mãng như lời của nguyên bản.Lời ca cứ như quấn quýt quện vào nhau, không rời.Nói lên được sự quyến luyến triền miên của người con gái trước lúc chia tay từ giã người tình.Đúng là :

”Nhất cú ly ca nhất độ sầu-一句离歌一度愁”

Đây là một bài viết mua vui, viết để đáp lại câu hỏi của người bạn già tóc trắng, cùng một số bằng hữu của ông, muốn tìm hiểu về lai lịch của bài “Hà Nhật Quân Tái Lai”. Và cũng để tạ cái tình ông đã “khởi động” cho tôi sống lại một kỷ niệm về một câu hát của tuổi thơ ấu năm xưa.

CHÚ THÍCH

Dương Quan 陽 關

Là tên một cửa quan một cửa quan, nằm cách thành phố Đôn Hòang tỉnh Cam Túc, hơn bẩy mươi cây số về phía tây.Mới đầu, cửa quan này được cất dưới triều đại của Hán Võ Đế.Nhân vì Dương Quân nằm ở phía nam của Ngọc Môn Quan, nhân thế mà thành tên Dương Quan (ngày xưa vùng đất phía nam của núi thì gọi là dương 陽).Vì thế, Dương Quan và Ngoc Môn Quan được xưng là Nhị Quan

Dương Quan được coi là yết hầu của đường giao thông cổ xưa đến Tây Vực, Đồng thời,« Dương Quan » cũng là tên gọi của một ca khúc, gọi tắt từ tên « Dương Quan Tam Điệp »,bắt nguồn từ bài thơ được phổ nhạc của Vương Duy là « 送元二使安西 –Tống Nguyên Nhị SứAn Tây» trong đó có hai câu :

勸君更盡一杯酒

Khuyên quân cánh tận nhất bôi tửu

西出陽關無故人.

Tây xuất Dương Quan vô cố nhân

(Khuyên chàng cạn hết chén này –Dương Quan tây xuất không còn cố nhân).

Và vì thế Dương Quan được coi là bài hát tiễn biệt nhau.

Lư Câu Kiều Sự Biến 盧溝橋事變

Lư Câu Kiều (tây phương gọi là cầu Marco Polo) nằm ở phía tây nam Bắc Kinh 15 cây số, nhân cầu nằm bắc ngang sông Lư Câu Hà mà thành tên gọi, là cây cầu bằng đá tối cổ của thành phố Bắc Kinh tồn tại đến ngày nay.

Lư Câu Kiều sự kiện là sự kiện đánh dấu ngày Nhật Bản phát động cuộc xâm lấn Trung Hoa, và cùng là ngày người Trung Hoa kỷ niệm bắt đầu kháng chiến.

Từ tháng 6 năm 1937, Nhật Bản liên tiếp tăng quân ở vùng Bình Tân, và tại vùng phụ cận Uyển Bình Huyện, Bắc Bình diễn tập quân sự để khiêu khích.

Đến đêm 7 tháng 7 năm 1937, trưởng cơ quan đặc vụ của Nhật Bản là Tùng Tiến nói dối là có một binh sĩ Nhật Bản bị mất tích khi diễn tập, yêu cầu được tiến hành điều tra ở Uyển Bình Huyện.Sự yêu cầu này bị Trung Hoa cự tuyệt.Nhật Bản lập tức phát động cuộc tấn công vào phía quân Trung Quốc đóng ở Lư Cầu Kiều, và oanh kích vào Uyển Bình Huyện.

Oh! Mon Amour, do Christophe thu đĩa năm 1972. Đây không chỉ là đĩa hát thành công nhất, phổ biến nhất của Christophe trước năm 1975 tại miền Nam VN, tại các quốc gia nói tiếng Pháp hoặc chịu ảnh hưởng văn hóa Pháp, mà còn ở nhiều quốc gia khác trên thế giới.

Thế nhưng Oh! Mon Amour lại không phải là một sáng tác của Christophe, hoặc do anh viết chung với một tác giả khác, mà của ba tác giả Paul de Senneville, Olivier Toussaint, và Michaële.

Một cách chi tiết, Oh! Mon Amour do Paul de Senneville viết nhạc, Olivier Toussaint soạn hòa âm, và Michaële đặt lời hát.

Paul de Senneville và Olivier Toussaint là hai nhà soạn nhạc kiêm viết ca khúc, sau khi gặp nhau đã trở thành một cặp bài trùng. Ngoài Oh! Mon Amour, hai ông còn viết nhiều ca khúc mang lại thành công cho Dalida, Petula Clark, Michèle Torr, Hervé Villard, Claude François, Michel Polnareff… Hai ông cũng soạn nhạc đệm cho nhiều cuốn phim điện ảnh.

Năm 1976, nhạc khúc Ballade pour Adeline của hai ông đã một sớm một chiều biến chàng nhạc sĩ dương cầm vô danh 22 tuổi Richard Clayderman thành một tên tuổi quốc tế.

Về phần Michaële, sinh năm 1944, là một nữ ca nhạc sĩ kiêm nhà viết ca khúc người Pháp gốc Ai-cập, nổi tiếng với những lời hát đẹp như thơ.

Ba tài năng chuyên biệt ấy – Paul de Senneville & Olivier Toussaint, Michaële – phối hợp lại, cùng với tiếng hát độc đáo của Christophe đã cống hiến cho đời đĩa hát Oh! Mon Amour bất hủ.

Vẫn biết lời hát của Oh! Mon Amour do Michaële đặt được xưng tụng đẹp như một bài thơ, nhưng cũng tương tự trường hợp bản La vie c’est une histoire d’amour do Christophe thu đĩa trước đó, sức thu hút ban đầu của Oh! Mon Amour chính là ở giai điệu, chỉ cần nghe một lần là nhớ mãi.

La Maritza (trích “Những ca khúc nhạc ngoại quốc lời Việt” – Hoài Nam)

La Maritza do Jean Renard soạn nhạc và Pierre Delanoe đặt lời.

Jean Renard, sinh năm 1933, là tác giả của những ca khúc êm đềm vào thời nhạc trẻ, chẳng hạn bản Le premier bonheur du jour (Niềm hạnh phúc đầu ngày) viết cho Françoise Hardy.

Pierre Delanoe (1918-2006), như chúng tôi đã có lần nhắc tới, là nhà viết lời hát nổi tiếng bậc nhất của Pháp trong thế kỷ 20, đã viết lời hát cho hàng trăm ca khúc của ba thế hệ ca sĩ, từ Édith Piaf tới Charles Aznavour, từ Gilbert Bécaud (bản Et maintenant) tới Michel Polnareff, từ Mireille Matthieu tới Sylvie Vartan…

La Maritza là một ca khúc đẹp và buồn. Dường như bất cứ tác phẩm văn học nghệ thuật nào viết về dòng sông kỷ niệm cũng đẹp và buồn.

Maritza, đúng ra theo tự điển phải viết là Maritsa, là một dòng sông nhỏ (rivière) ở bán đảo Ba-nhĩ-cán (Balkans).
[Tiếng Anh gọi chung “sông” là “river”, tiếng Pháp thì phân biệt giữa sông lớn (fleuve) và sông nhỏ (rivière)]

Maritsa bắt nguồn từ Bảo-gia-lợi, dài 480 km, hai phần ba chảy trên lãnh thổ Bảo, phần còn lại trở thành biên giới thiên nhiên giữa Thổ-nhĩ-kỳ và Hy-lạp trước khi đổ ra biển Aegean Sea. Tuy nhỏ, tàu bè không thể lưu thông từ thượng nguồn tới hạ nguồn, nhưng Maritsa đóng một vai trò rất quan trọng, thậm chí mang tính cách “sinh tử” trong đời sống của người dân trong vùng. Nguyên nhân: Maritsa là con sông chính ở bán đảo Ba-nhĩ-cán, nguồn cung cấp nước cho mọi sinh hoạt, đặc biệt là nông nghiệp.

Vì thế, Maritsa đã có tên trong sử sách từ thế kỷ thứ 7 trước Công Nguyên, được người cổ Hy-lạp (Thracian) gọi là Evgos, sau đó người La-mã đổi thành Hebros. Còn tên “Maritsa” – mà nhiều người tin là một biến thể của “Maria” – có từ bao giờ, không ai biết đích xác.

Năm 1371, bên dòng sông này đã diễn ra trận đánh lịch sử “Battle of Maritsa”, qua đó quân Serbia bị đại bại trước quân Đế quốc Thổ (Ottoman Empire).

Gần đây nhất, con đường thiên lý dọc bờ sông Maritsa đã trở thành lộ trình chính của người tỵ nạn từ Bắc Phi và Trung Đông đổ vào các quốc gia Tây Âu.

Trở lại với Sylvie Vartan và ca khúc La Maritza. Chỉ một tháng sau khi cô ra chào đời (1944), Bảo-gia-lợi bị Hồng quân Liên Xô xâm lược, căn nhà của gia đình bên dòng Maritsa thơ mộng bị “cách mạng” tịch thu, cả nhà phải lên thủ đô Sofia sống, rồi sau này sang Pháp tỵ nạn, thì không thể gọi Maritsa là “dòng sông kỷ niệm” của cô. Suy ra “mười năm ấu thơ” (mes dix premières années) trong lời hát chỉ là do óc tưởng tượng của tác giả Pierre Delanoe.

Lời hát của La Maritza như những lời thơ buồn – nỗi buồn của tuổi ấu thơ thời chiến chinh tao loạn:

La Maritza là dòng sông của tôi, như La Seine là dòng sông của bạn, nhưng mười năm ấu thơ của tôi đã mất, kể cả con búp-bê… Những con chim bên dòng sông ngày ấy líu lo hát khúc tự do, nhưng tôi chỉ thấy khói lửa chiến tranh… Tới khi chân trời ngập một màu tang tóc, lũ chim bỏ đi, còn chúng tôi, trên con đường tuyệt vọng, đã vượt thoát, và tới Paris…”

Năm 1990, cùng với sự sụp đổ của Liên Xô và khối cộng sản Đông Âu, Đảng Cộng Sản Bảo-gia-lợi tự nguyện giải tán để đất nước chuyển sang chế độ tự do dân chủ, Sylvie Vartan đã trở về thăm nơi chôn nhau cắt rốn, dòng sông Maritsa vẫn còn đó, nhưng căn nhà xưa không còn một dấu tích...

Christophe vừa mất và tình cờ mới đọc qua bài viết anh Nguyen Huu Thien post về Christophe & những bản nhạc ông đã trình diển, tôi lại nhớ đến những chuyện ngày xưa...

Nói đến nhạc Christophe hát, người ta thường nhớ đến những bản nhạc bất hủ như Aline, Mal, Oh Mon Amour, Je suis parti, Je ne t’aime plus,... những bản nhạc gợi nhớ lại một thuở tuổi trẻ ngông cuồng, "điếc không sợ súng".
